Welcome to our website

The North Yorkshire village of Oswaldkirk is situated on the south-facing bank of the Hambleton Hills, overlooking the Coxwold-Gilling Gap and beyond to the Howardian Hills.  It lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and part of the village is in the North York Moors National Park (NYMNP). Most of the village is classed as a 'Conservation Area' by the Ryedale Planning Authority. Further details regarding the AONB, NYMNP and Conservation Area can be found in our Village Information Booklet.  In addition, this booklet covers a wide range of topics from dustbin day through to local church services.

Oswaldkirk has a Parish Meeting where issues, such as local planning applications are discussed as well as producing the Oswaldkirk Village Plan

Also active in Oswaldkirk is Neighbourhood Watch and First Responders. In addition to the Parish Meeting there is a lively social life with many events held throughout the year, including regular village walks. Details of these events can be found on the Village Calendar. As regards facilities, there is a Village Hall which is available for functions for residents as well as non-residents.
