The Village Hall stands in the centre of the main street and is at the heart of village life.
It enjoys delightful views to the south across fields and streams rising to the wooded Hambledon Hills in the distance.
The Hall was built in 1988 to replace a splendid two-storied building where the villagers used to play billiards, read books, hold concerts and plays, and host hunt balls on it’s fully sprung dance floor, Sadly, it was far too big for a small village like Oswaldkirk.
The Hall provides a venue for most recreational events including meetings, amateur dramatics, dances, indoor sporting activities and private parties. It is also available for use by surrounding communities.
